Group Cohesiveness

Group Cohesiveness

Group cohesiveness means simply the intimacy (closeness) of a group or a team. A team or group should have the group cohesiveness in order to be a success group. And also we can say that it is kind of a friendship.
A group which has not the group cohesiveness will be obsoleted or out of graded. And it is obvious that there are some differences between groups which are having group cohesiveness and which are not having. Those differences can be shown as follow.

Group which having group  cohesiveness
Group which not having group cohesiveness
Motivated group members
Demotivated group members
Have a direct plan
Does not  have a proper plan
Punctual
Not punctual
Innovations will be arisen
Innovation will not be arisen
Reach the success
Face barriers

So, it is very important to have group cohesiveness within the group members in order to reach the success of the group.

The group which has the cohesiveness has more chances rather than the other groups which have not the cohesiveness. Therefore it is better if group members give their maximum participation to the group to achieve their objectives.

The members in groups that are cohesive are much more satisfied with that group. As a result, they are more willing to stay in the group longer and often recommend the group to others.
