If it is a good group, there must be group cohesiveness among the group members. Group cohesiveness refers that extent to which the members are attracted to each other and to the group. And also all members in a group work as a one for the achieving their common goal of group. There is interpersonal attraction among the members and they have good opportunity to sharing their knowledge and they can be made successful decision on behalf of the group.
There are so many benefits of group cohesiveness. Such as,
- Maintenance of good group membership.
- Buildup the mutual trust among the group members.
- They can improve their confidence.
- Sharing knowledge and ideas.
- Get synergistic benefits.
- After the successful discussion they can take most successful decisions.
If there is no group cohesiveness it is cause to increases group conflicts, Asch effect, etc.
So to be a good group, must maintain the group cohesiveness of the group.

Therefore if the members in a group are not supportive and have poor relationships with others it will be difficult to go through the ladder of success since the discontent feelings of the members.
